Eva Schott advises companies, financial institutions, and family offices at the intersection of corporate, contract, and financial market law, with a particular focus on regulatory, governance, and enforcement matters. She also advises on investments and on the structuring and execution of complex transactions.
Before joining Ramelet.Legal as a partner, Eva Schott worked as legal counsel in the Swiss financial services sector, where she guided external asset managers through the entire setup – from incorporation and licensing to contractual documentation – and continued to advise them on compliance and regulatory matters. She combines extensive experience in private practice with in-depth in-house expertise: she spent around ten years as an attorney-at-law at a renowned Swiss business law firm and gained additional experience as in-house counsel at an international biotechnology company. Her focus areas included financial market law, corporate law, and M&A.
Her legal practice is complemented by mandates on boards of directors and other bodies. Eva Schott studied law at the Universities of Fribourg and Basel and was admitted to the bar in 2010.
