Nicolas Ramelet mainly advises companies with business activities in the regulated financial market, also including the distinction between regulated and non-regulated business activities. He also advises his clients in related corporate law matters. 

 

Nicolas is furthermore a member of the Board of the self-regulatory organization of the Swiss Bar Association and an elected member of the arbitral tribunal of SRO Treuhand Suisse. Nicolas Ramelet is involved in legislative projects, frequently acts as a speaker and lecturer, and regularly publishes articles in legal journals and economic media in his fields of expertise. Nicolas is a member of national and cantonal working groups for financial market matters. 

 

Prior professional positions include his role as CEO of the largest AML self-regulatory body and parabanking industry organization in Switzerland from 2014 to 2018. Prior to this, Nicolas acted as legal specialist with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, before taking the role as an associate attorney for financial market law at a leading Swiss law firm.
